Steven Stamkos Sarnia Sting




Here is a Sarnia Sting Steven Stamkos jersey. The Sting are a team in the OHL (Ontario Hockey League) and recently sported one of the NHL's most promising young phenoms on there roster.

Steven Stamkos was the first over all pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Level Draft and was chosen by the Tampa Bay Lightning.


In his first NHL season, he was coached by one of my favorite players, Wes Walz who was the Assistant Coach at the time. He only totaled 46 points in 79 games but the vast majority of those points came towards the end of the season and after he started to personally work with Walz.

This jersey is a size 56 and was worn by #11 for the Sting and I removed the name and number and added Stamkos. If this was an actual game worn jersey it would be worth close to $2,000 at auction.

    Absolutely love that jersey!! Any chance you'd be willing to part with it? Huge Stammer fan, and I've literally been searching high and low for years now to find this jersey.

    I'm guessing you're not, so I'll resort to a second question. Have any idea where I could obtain one of these, or even one of these older style Sarnia jerseys? Thanks for any help!
